My Story

Hi I’m Steph from The Craft Body Painting and Special Effects. I’m a qualified artist who’s based in Staffordshire, UK and to be honest I love painting your dreams into reality. I’ve been a body painter as well as a face painter for coming up to 6 years and I’ve recently finished my degree in Makeup and Special effects.

I began to use body paints and special effects as I’ve always been fascinated with the unimaginable, as well as characters and creatures and what better way to do that then turn myself or (even better) someone else into one. I take great care to make sure I use only the safest products out there to create the best painting that I can and honestly it gives me no greater satisfaction that seeing the look on your faces, both as my customers and as viewers, when at the end of the job the look is complete. I don’t just do body-painting and special effects though I also special occasions such as parties and weddings, and I’ve even worked on modelling shoots and films. I love seeing every part of England so yep you’ve heard it hear first but I’ve started touring. That means that I can come to you if you have an idea that needs bringing to life. I’ve worked festivals such as Download and even been to a few conventions (you may have seen me) so who knows we may accidentally bump into each other in a coffee shop.
