Port Talbot Little Theatre proudly presents Blithe Spirit by Noel Coward

Novelist, Charles Condomine is gathering inspiration for his new book about a homicidal spiritualist. He and his wife, Ruth, have invited eccentric medium, Madame Acarti, to dinner so that Charles may study the 'tricks of the trade’.

Only things take an unexpected turn when Madame Acarti accidentally conjures up Charles’ dearly departed wife, Elvira! Unearthly goings on in this high spirited and improbable comedy.

CALLING ALL ACTORS!

Open auditions are being held on Friday 5th and Tuesday 9th August at 7:30pm, Wesley Chapel hall, Taibach, for our November production of Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit.

Novelist Charles Condomine invites eccentric medium Madame Arcati to his house to conduct a séance, hoping to gather material for his next book. Comedy ensues when the spirit of his first wife appears.

Cast

Charles Condomine - Confident, intelligent and debonair.

Ruth Condomine - Charles second and current wife, sharp, sophisticated and reserved.

Elvira Condomine - Ghost of Charles first wife, spirited and carefree.

Edith - The condomines' maid, hardworking but always in a hurry.

Madame Acarti - Eccentric and boisterous clairvoyant.

Dr Bradman - Friend of the condomines, a complete skeptic.

Mrs Bradman - Wife of Dr Bradman, fascinated by Madame Arcarti.

Scenes will be provided on the day, along with tea coffee and biscuits.

If acting isn't your forte we have roles available in other area's of the production, so please feel free to come along.

Now is the perfect time to join us as we branch off into exciting new ventures and start planning for our new season. There is a warm welcome for all! We are a diverse group who get involved in all aspects of theatre. We are looking for anyone with an interest for the theatre from acting, directing, backstage support or script writing to the more technical lighting, sound and even recording and editing for our new youtube channel!
