We are honoured to be performing in Beneath The Grief - a sensitively held community conversation hosted by Nilaari Agency at Rose Green & Bristol West Indian Phoenix Cricket Club.

Black Women Let Loose Theatre Company will perform a responsive movement piece, accompanied by live music & song from Vital Beats.

An artistically embodied expression of grief following sudden loss. Creating this work has been a deeply emotional and reflective process for us. We are grateful for the opportunity to share it within a space designed for compassion, connection, and collective healing among People of Colour.

Thank you to Nilaari for inviting us into this important event to Vital Beats who will provide a unique soundscape, to Bristol City Council for the funding to enable us to deliver the work, and to everyone who will be joining… courageously exploring grief, support, and community.

Black Women Let Loose Theatre Company will be at Bristol City Hall on Saturday to celebrate International Women's Day 2025 with Bristol Women's Voice.

Join us for our interactive performance called THE RHYTHM OF RISING - A spotlight on Black Women who have accelerated change. We’re on at 15:30-16:15 in the Guangzhou Room.

City Hall will be buzzing all day! With 50+ free workshops, performances, talks, and activities, bringing together communities from across Bristol.

Our DIASPORA! 2024 Impact Report is now live! 🥳🌍

DIASPORA! was a new and first-of-its-kind festival for Bristol and the South West. Developed, produced and presented by the Diverse Artists Network, this inaugural festival showcased and reflected the wide variety of talent from the region’s underrepresented diasporas. With over 60 events at 30+ venues, DIASPORA! 2024 platformed more than 150 artists across one exceptional long weekend!

Wiltshire Creative and Talawa Presents as part of the Talawa Black Joy season, have teamed up to offer seed commissions to support a new idea or early work in progress from any artistic medium which will amplify the voices of people who are currently under-represented in the creative arts sector and to celebrate Black stories and artists.
