WOW! We are thrilled and delighted with last night’s performance of Imagine That! It’s been a long road with a few speed bumps along the way (😉) but as it turns out, it was more than just alright on the night... It was magical! ✨
Pull up a chair, because we have a hell of a great team to thank...
Firstly - thanks to our AMAZING cast! All of you brought our show to life (and the house down!) with your fabulous performances... Each and every one of you were SUPERSTARS and we literally could not be prouder... Special thanks to our star, Jordan Fretwell, for joining our team and taking ‘Sherman’ to a whole new level of awesome!
Hays O’Sullivan and Clare Tocher - our costume Gods and set creators of epic magnitude - we literally could not have done it without you! From the massive LIDL sign, to giant bagels, dinosaurs, evil squids (and more!) your creativity never ceased to astound us...
Lauren Bignold for being our choreographer wizard, keeping us sane(ish) and acting as sound engineer on the night! (Thanks also to Louisa, Aaliyah and Jess for the additional choreography!)
Amy Graham and Eden Hartley for stepping in at literally the 11th hour to step up to the plate! You not only made ‘Cute Little Troll’ and ‘Terrible Toothfairy’ your own, but you saved our bacon in the process...
Ben Lawson for your superb narration AND helping us turn around the venue preparation in record time... (Next time we’ll remember to buy more blue tac!)
Lynette Bird for all your constant help with script sorting, prop finding, venue prepping, sanity keeping and emergency shopping runs...
Gordon Bird for sorting the programmes (and keeping us well supplied with yummy food for our many late night writing sessions!)
Ruth & Ken Driscoll for letting us convert your home into an army base camp for all manner of wacky costumes and props (you must feel as if you’ve lived on Sesame Street these last few weeks!) special thanks to Ruth for painting the Mr Smith puppet - converting a happy bandit into a full on super villain!
Michaela Riley and ALL the team at Spotlight UK for not just the help you gave with the show, but all the support you give to the children and parents who need it, day after day...
And finally... A MASSIVE thank you to our wonderful audience of parents, friends, children and cheer leaders!
Differences don’t divide us; they elevate, educate and inspire a world of infinite possibility... This is isn’t just the moral of our show; it’s the reason it came together... ❤️
