At the start of this Pride month, we want to remind all our young people and families that the Barn is a safe space for anyone exploring who they are.

It is clearer now that it has ever been that the LGBTQ+ community need allies and safe spaces, despite some vocal bigoted and intolerant views from some in our town on social media we stand firm that the Barn will always be a place of safety for all.

If your young person is experiencing challenges over their identity or sexuality, there are some fantastic resources out there. We recommend Childline as a wonderful source of support for young people. https://www.childline.org.uk/info-advice/your-feelings/sexual-identity/

If any of of our youth workers can provide support please just reach out.

FIDGET REQUEST!

If you are having a half term sort out and want to get rid of some fidgets/ popits etc, the Barn would be very grateful to receive them.

Unfortunately all of our fidgets seem to have gone walk abouts and they are a very popular items with all our young people across all our clubs.
