A reminder that our pre-loved Tadcaster Grammar School uniform sale will be held the Barn on:
Saturday 11th July 10-12am
Saturday 29th August 10-12am

We will have lots of stock of all items your young person requires and as ever it is "pay as you can, as you feel" - all proceeds go directly towards supporting the Barn and the incredible work our youthwork team do every day.

The Barn exists in no small part to support the young people of our town. No other town in the County has what you have. Every day we are open after school for our young people - whatever age - with a trained team of trusted adults on site providing a safe environment for all to grow, to learn and to flourish.

I spent the day today with a whole room full of youth workers and youth providers. A whole day talking about the importance of youth work in our community’s, how we can better support our young people through sports, the arts and youth activities and how our work has the chance to be transformational in young lives. Yesterday I sat in the Children and Families scrutiny committee discussing the children and young people’s plan and advocating the importance of Youth work. We work incredibly hard to make sure our young people have access to trusted adults and also enriching opportunities. So proud to be a part of such a wonderful team at the Barn. Thank you so much to North Yorkshire Sport for organising such an inspiring day. Kirsty x🙌

Yes it is that time of year when a parent's mind begins to turn oh so reluctantly to the challenge of school uniform for September! To help out, the Barn runs a 2nd hand uniform service in the form of our annual shopping days and, throughout the year, parents can ask for uniform that has somehow been lost or grown out of! Dates for the Shop this year are Saturday July 11th and Saturday August 29th. 10-12am. All uniform is offered on a pay as you feel basis, with all proceeds going towards our youthwork provision at the Barn.
