Emma Pilling Dance Academy (EPDA) is an approved bbodance dance school and Acrobatic Arts certified studio serving Swinton, Mexborough and surrounding areas in South Yorkshire. aining whilst bringing enjoyment, energy and fun to every class. We offer a non competitive environment and prefer to focus on technique and performance over dance competitions. We offer Ofqual regulated examinations with bbodance, an organisation validated by the Council for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre (CDMT) who ensure the highest standards of examination provision. We are always looking for ways for our students to show their full potential and we provide amazing performance opportunities at iconic venues such as Disneyland Paris and Her Majesty’s Theatre in London. We also produce our own dance showcase every 18 months, allowing us time to balance performance experience with progression and nurturing of dance technique through Ofqual accredited examinations. Our team is made up of professional dancers and musical theatre performers who have turned their talents to teaching. We are absolutely dedicated to passing on our experience to the next generation. All staff are first aid trained and have a clear, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. We have 2 purpose built dance studios on our own premises in Swinton, Rotherham, with ample free parking and furnished with the latest dance equipment, including specialist Harlequin dance sprung flooring, ballet barres, mirrored walls and high quality sound systems.
