Always an honour and a privilege to frame medals especially with such a story as this. These two medal sets belonged to first cousins who joined the Army together during the First World War, receiving consecutive Army numbers. Both were only 19 when they made the ultimate sacrifice - one in Gaza and the other in Gallipoli.
Two cousins, who began their service side by side, now remembered side by side once again. Lest we forget.

An original piece of art bought very affordably at a small gallery in Pollensa - it was bought just mounted but felt the original mount was too stark and actually cropped too much of the art and made it feel somewhat trapped - so we decided to float it which allowed the art to flourish with a simple coastal style frame with white slips to keep the art off the glass! Framed artwork from holiday’s makes a home!
