As most of you know, I’ve been away for the last couple of months as I was heavily pregnant and expecting my first child.

After a long 72 hour labour, we decided it was time to switch tactics and opt for a C-section. Although this was far from our desired birth plan we could have been happier with the incredible staff at GWHospital across the maternity wards. On the 3rd of June, I gave birth to baby Bram! He is absolutely wonderful and we’re overjoyed that he’s finally here. He is happy and healthy and was a trooper throughout the long labour!

As I’m starting to feel much more myself now, I feel it's time to start integrating SwindonAnimation into our 'new normal'.

With that, I’m looking to start animation mentoring sessions again this July on weekends

The first dates back will be: Saturday the 4th and Sunday the 5th of June. I’m happy to have these either in a video call or as in person sessions. If you’d like to take part in these sessions, please contact me via email or WhatsApp.

Swindon Arts Fringe Festival
Swindon Animation - ‘My Hometown’ animations will be premiering on the June 22nd. I’m still in the middle of sticking them together as having a baby makes everything take 10 times as long as usual! If you’re also looking forward to seeing all of the amazing work submitted to the SwindonAnimation call out, please keep an eye out on my Instagram!

The Young Animator of the Year competition 2026 is now open!

If you know a young animator between the ages of 11-22, be sure to look through the rules and submit some work! Its awesome taking part in a competition like this, fantastic for your CV and there are some awesome prizes up for grabs!

*EDIT* This movie will now be screening on Friday the 15th on May! *EDIT*

On Saturday the 16th of May we have been blessed with the opportunity to watch the legendary AKIRA at our local indie cinema - Create Studios! This iconic movie has influenced generations of films after it. This is not one to miss. Parents, please be advised that this is a 15 so I recommend watching the trailer yourself before bringing younger viewers.

My tickets are already booked and I hope to see you there!

Ever seen Princess Mononoke on the big screen?

Me neither!!!

We cannot miss this awesome opportunity to see an incredible Ghibli film on the big screen!

will be screening this gorgeous Ghibli masterpiece on April the 18th at 7pm! Make sure you book a ticket! I’m absolutely buzzing for this one! Not only will it be a luxury viewing experience with comfortable sofas, they sell snacks, sweets, crisps, cold beverages AND we should have time for a social afterwards!

This workshop is for kids (ages 6-16) who love spring, the Easter Bunny, chocolate eggs and of course… Animation!

𝗔 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀:
We’ll be working on making short animated films that the kids will be directing themselves! Using paper cut-out animation, some creativity and some craft, they’ll finish the 2 hour session with a finished animation that I can send directly to your email, ready for them to send to their friends and family!

Spaces are very limited so book early to avoid disappointment!
