And that’s a Wrap!!
10 years just like that!! ❤️🤩💥
I honestly can’t believe it’s been 10 years since I opened the doors to Oink Gallery in Old Town, Swindon.
I’ve had the absolute privilege of working with some incredible artists, from emerging local talent to internationally acclaimed artists, from London, Bristol, Brighton, LA, Bath, Norway and of course locally.
I’ve loved every minute of showcasing work I’m so passionate about, and I’m really happy to say lots of the artists have become great friends along the way.
I’ve also been incredibly lucky with our customers, from collectors to people who said they knew nothing about art and ended up becoming big fans and collectors themselves. That’s always been a huge part of what Oink was about.
And none of it would have been possible without my amazing partner in crime Lily Matic Pepperall , who has supported me through every move over the last 10 years. We’ve made some amazing friends through Oink and had some seriously good nights too!!
Although the physical gallery is closing, this definitely isn’t the end. Oink will continue online, working with all our current artists and you may see us in a pop up every now and then!
For those that haven’t seen and want to follow our next part of the story we are super excited to be opening a new gallery in Painswick, just outside Stroud — Place(d) Contemporary Place(d) Contemporary
A new space and a new style, but the same passion for the artists I love and incorporating our interior business into the mix!
I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Oink over the last 10 years. Artists, customers, collectors, friends and everyone who has walked through the door.
It’s been truly amazing!
