Who would have thought a simple pot could raise so many smiles? But these are special pots, 'Huggle Pots' in fact! When the clay is still soft enough to shape, the ceramic artist wraps themselves around the pot and sqeezes.. gently but firmly and imprints their own, personal 'hug', with love, with feeling, leaving an indellible record of that moment...
These fine examples were made at Eastcott Studios by Jo McAree, Ceramic Artist and Hand built by Tracey and are on display as part of the SWAF , Swindon Arts Fringe Festival, FREE exhibition which is open every day, 10am-4pm until 28th June at 19 Canal Walk (old Argos unit). Why not drop by, who knows, you may even get to find the hug!

The amazing thing about flexible learning, pay as you go, no commitment to block booked classes, all day pottery experiences, short taster sessions, build your own learning programme or come and do it just for fun, is that you choose to do it your way! With loads of space to bring a friend, onsite art gallery cafe, beginners, experienced, pottery painting, mosaics, pot throwing, group sessions, teams, hen parties or come on your own... phew.. at Eastcott Studios there really is something for everyone!

This weeks amazing batches from the kilns, fired and ready to collect or drop in and glaze. Call by during any general session (no need to book) every Mon, Tues or Wed, 6.30-8.30pm, or any Tues and Wed 10.30-12,12.30-2, 4.30-6 or 6.30-8.30pm
IMPORTANT.. please remember we can only store uncollected work for ONE MONTH after it has been fired so please collect as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.

Pot throwing, hand building, glazing and pottery painting by regulars, complete beginners and individuals and professional makers working on their own projects, it is so great to be able to share our space with such an amazing range of visutors!
