Our Story

The Swindon Pokemon Go community started out using pages to chat and brag about their catches. When raid bosses were released, it became apparent very quickly that Facebook and WhatsApp were no longer going to cut it for organising raids.

We set up the Pokemon Go Swindon Discord server on 28th July 2017 to assist with raid creations and for our community to get to know each other further.

Just under a year later and the Swindon server had grown to nearly 1000 members, so we’ve expanded to encompass communities throughout Wiltshire.
