It was lovely to be able to take part in this wonderful event again this year :-)
The Great Western Hospitals NHS Choir treated us to a fun, uplifting and entertaining set this evening.
As a choir with wellbeing at its heart, they perfectly demonstrated the positive impact that singing together can have, both for those taking part and for those listening.
Their energetic rendition of โBlame It on the Boogieโ had the audience dancing and singing along, while their moving performance of 'You Raise Me Up' showcased the warmth and emotion that they bring to their music.
As well as singing today, these lovely ladies have been in the kitchen all day, serving refreshments to everyone. This makes the energy they managed to bring to this performance even more impressive - thank you ladies!
The choir is always keen to welcome new members and is currently looking for both current and retired NHS staff to join them. Judging by the laughter, camaraderie and enjoyment on display this evening, it's a wonderful opportunity to make new connections, have fun and experience the many wellbeing benefits of singing together.
