☀️🌡️ Sports Day Class Cancellation 🌡️☀️

Unfortunately, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this Thursday’s Sports Day-themed class due to the Met Office red warning for extreme heat. 🥵

As many of you know, the church hall doesn’t have air conditioning. Although I had planned water play 💦 and arranged some fans 🌬️, I feel it would still be too hot and uncomfortable for both children and adults. My daughters’ school has also announced it will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday because of the heat.

I’m so sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause, but the safety and wellbeing of your little ones is always my top priority. ❤️

Over the next few days, I recommend drinking plenty of water 💧, staying in the shade 🌳, avoiding the midday sun ☀️, and keeping those fans running at full blast! 🌬️

I am currently looking into rearranging the class for Thursday 9th July and will confirm this as soon as possible. Watch this space for an update! 👀

🤩 What a SUPER session we had at Wanborough toddlers on Tuesday morning! 🦸‍♀️✨

After a successful Winter Wonderland session back in December, they kindly invited me back for a fun-filled Superhero-themed art and creative play adventure. Thank you so much for having me again! 🙏💛

👩‍🎨 Their little ARTists fully embraced every activity and had an amazing time:

🛡️ Designing and decorating their own superhero shields
🦸‍♀️ Creating footprint superhero capes
⭐ Making superstar cookie-cutter prints
🎨 Splatting paint in our collaborative comic-style painting area using fly swatters
🌾 Practising fine motor skills through scooping and pouring superhero-themed red rice

Well done, everyone, and thank you for joining us. ARTy Bear and I had a wonderful time and can't wait for our next adventure! 🐻

✨ In my spare time, I’ve been working on my very first diamond painting – a beautiful robin! 🐦💎

I’m planning to have it finished in time for Christmas… let’s see how that goes! 😅

It’s definitely a little fiddly and requires plenty of patience, but once you get into the rhythm of it, it’s surprisingly therapeutic and relaxing. 🧘‍♀️✨

Now, if we’re talking unfinished craft projects… I should probably mention the Christmas stockings I planned to make for my hubby and me about 3 years ago! 😂

The kids’ stockings got finished, but ours are still waiting patiently for their turn… 🙈

So, let’s hope I have better luck completing this robin before Christmas arrives! 🎄💎

🎨 Join us for a relaxing, child-free evening of creativity as we decorate a beautiful Wildflower Meadow Wall Hanging, alongside a selection of messy, painty activities inspired by the fun we enjoy in our ARTventurers classes – all with a vibrant summer theme! 🌸☀️

💕 Whether you're a seasoned crafter or haven't picked up a paintbrush in years, this workshop is all about unwinding, getting creative, and making something uniquely yours.
