OUR ETHOS
Transform and enhance the town with unique works of art. Improve the atmosphere and living conditions within the community. Provide artists a platform to showcase their talents. Contribute to the local arts and culture scene. Following the success of the first festival in 2022, 2023's festival was bigger and better than ever garnering international recognition with hundreds of people co

ming to the festival over the weekend and enjoying all the amazing artwork in the sunshine. It brought over 50 talented artists with some of the artists travelling from as far as the United States and Spain. Workshops, exhibitions and live painting are held alongside the creation of street murals. Since the festival has ended, the artists’ works have transformed many areas of Swindon.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Nirmal “Nims” Purja.💙
This mural was painted by Martin Travers Martin Travers for Swindon Paint Fest 2022 at 47-48 Bridge Street. This mural still stands today and honours an extraordinary mountaineer whose courage, resilience and determination inspire millions around the world. His legacy will live on. Rest in peace 🙏🏻

It’s tomorrow! See you all there! Jake Dempsey solo exhibition coming up that displays his graphic research work based around the identity of Swindon. It takes the notable places, faces and moments from Swindon’s history and puts a contemporary graphic arts led spin on it.

There is a launch party and viewing at Recoup Care and Bar, Hotel Ibis, Fleet Street, Swindon on the 4th of July from 5pm to 9pm! *Edited*

The idea isn’t to be super clean, polished and council friendly. The work is instead developed through collages, digital prints, screen prints and paintings as a way to demonstrate both Swindon’s identity and introduce a new perspective through a black, red and white colour scheme, rough cut visual elements and things that are deliberately imperfect, much like Swindon itself.

Come along, bring your friends, ask questions and see the work!

Big thanks to .ltd and for their support on this project and thanks to ReCoup Cafe and Bar for hosting!
