Hi followers of my old page - just a little reminder that I changed my painting business name at the start of 2023, and also moved everything over to a new page ( Murals by Sarah )

Only about 100 out of the 600-ish of you have liked the new page so far, and I'd love it if a few more of you would join me there! You've missed a few pretty new walls and stuff! :)

Just a little plea - I'd really love to see more of the 700-odd followers from this page follow me over to my new page (Murals by Sarah) - as I won't be posting any new work on here, and all the old stuff that you already liked on here has now been posted over there.

I'm still the same old me posting the same kind of work, just with a new name.

Hi all - over the last year, as I've been asked to tackle all sorts of different painting challenges, not all of which were suitable for spray paints - my "You Pay, I Spray" brand name has become less and less descriptive of everything I actually do.

The name was memorable, and people seemed to like it, but I also have had feedback that it was off-putting to potential customers who didn't specifically want a spray painted piece, as they didn't realise I can also wield a brush.

So .... drum roll .... from today I will instead be trading as "Murals by Sarah" - it's just a little more all inclusive, as a mural can be on any surface (indoor and outdoor walls, vans, etc), and brought to life with any kind of paint.

Please do give me a follow over at Murals by Sarah , as I'd hate to lose you!

(And if any of my past customers would be kind enough to leave me a review over at the new page, I'd hugely appreciate that, as I'm pretty much starting from scratch over there)

Phew, I managed to get my Facebook account unlocked, got to admit I was panicking a bit there as I couldn't get access to this page.

(My personal account got hacked yesterday afternoon around 5.30pm, so if you saw anything weird on this page or from me personally between then and about an hour ago when I was thankfully able to recover it, it wasn't me!)

So that's the year nearly at an end , and what a year it has been for me and my little painting business, wow!

Huuuuuge thanks to all of you out there who have trusted me over the last 12 months with your walls and your vehicles, and more importantly with your ideas, to which I was hopefully able to do justice.

Also big thanks to my other half Jason and my kids, as I haven't seen much of any of them this year with working most weekends. To be honest, they haven't complained :D

I'm honestly blown away looking back through the 2022 highlight photos below, at all the wonderful and varied things I've had the joy of bringing to life this year. I genuinely can't wait to find out what you all want on your walls in 2023, bring it ON.

This week's mural was SO MUCH FUN.

Dinosaurs πŸ¦•, unicorns πŸ¦„ and bunnies 🐰, oh my!!

Honestly, I wish all clients were 5 year old little girls: "and we need a rainbow, and a unicorn, and the unicorn must have magic sparkles, oh and a bunny! We need a bunny! And dinosaurs for my little brother!...." :) :) :)

The mural was designed to work around the furniture in this lovely bright playroom. With "easter eggs" like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that the children will be able to reveal to their friends by pulling out a drawer, etc.

You all know me and how much I love bright colours, I was absolutely in my element with this one 🌈

Something a little different today, a tad smaller than my usual canvas :)

While painting a new mural last weekend, the client asked if I would be up for an extra task.

The family had inherited a cute Christmas ladder decoration from their grandparents, but they weren't overly keen on the slightly creepy clown who didn't seem to fit in with the other characters 🀑πŸ”ͺπŸ˜ƒ

So they asked if I could design and paint an elf character to fit the clown cutout shape, and look at home with the rest.

Challenge accepted!
