The Judith Hockaday School provides classes for boys and girls from 3 years of age. Subjects include ballet, modern, tap, national, jazz, contemporary and musical theatre. The College provides full and part time professional theatre and teacher training courses from 16 years of age.

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to this lovely bunch on their recent dance exams! 🤩👏

What makes these results even more special is that they took their exams during our very busy show week at the end of term! 🌟

Their commitment, dedication and hard work really shone through, and we couldn’t be more proud of the results they achieved! 🥰

But, as we always say, results don’t define you. What matters just as much are the life skills you develop along the way — resilience, perseverance, discipline, commitment and the confidence to keep going when things get tough. 💪✨

We’ve loved returning from our hols to hear all about the dance and performance related activities JHS students have been involved in over the break! 💙

SYP’s production of Little Shop of Horrors at the Wyvern Theatre was a great success and JHS students did us proud with their performances and backstage behaviour! 😍

Students have attended Summer schools, workshops and classes at a variety of colleges and dance venues, and talent shows all over the country (and abroad!) have been entertained by JHS dancers! 🤩

Keep dancing! 🪩🧑‍🩰🕺🏻We can’t wait to hear all about your adventures when we return to the studio on 7th September! 😊

It’s always such a joy to see former students, but it’s extra special when you get to watch their careers continue to flourish! 🌟

Last night, Miss Heather had the absolute pleasure of catching up with our former student, Aaron, who is currently working as an Offstage Swing in CATS at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. 😍

What a fabulous production! Stunning choreography, an incredible cast and such a brilliant setting. 🤩

Aaron is certainly no stranger to CATS, having performed in the show many times, both on stage and on screen. This fantastic modern adaptation sees him covering 10 different roles! 😮🤩 What an incredible challenge — and one that requires an amazing amount of versatility, focus and a very clever brain!

Those qualities were always evident in Aaron, even as a young JHS student. It makes us so proud to see him continuing to use those talents and doing what he loves. 🥰

And, of course, he’s still flying the JHS flag high! 💙 We’re so proud that, alongside all his incredible achievements, Aaron remains the same humble, kind and grateful person he has always been.

What a wonderful role model for our current JHS students — a reminder that the hard work, dedication and skills developed through dance can take you on such an exciting journey. 🌟

Whatever your results, we hope you take a moment to recognise just how much you have achieved. GCSEs are a big milestone, but your results do not define who you are or what you are capable of achieving in the future. ❤️

For those heading on to college, sixth form, apprenticeships or whatever your next adventure may be, we wish you every success and happiness for this exciting new chapter. ✨

A HUGE congratulations to all of our amazing JHS Dance students receiving their A Level and BTEC results today! 🎓✨

Whatever your results, we hope you take a moment to look back and feel incredibly proud of everything you have achieved. Results are just one small part of your journey and they certainly don’t define the wonderful, talented young people you are. ❤️

Over the years at JHS, you have learned so much more than dance. You’ve developed hard work, commitment, resilience, discipline, time management, determination and the ability to keep going when things get tough — life skills that will stay with you long after your exams are over. 💪🏼✨

And we are especially proud of the way so many of you balanced the huge pressure of A Levels with rehearsals for our Summer Show. Despite the demands of your exams, you continued to turn up, work hard, support your fellow dancers and ultimately gave us an absolutely amazing performance in Landscapes in Motion! 🌟👏🏼

That says so much about the incredible young people you have become.

🏆 SENIOR GLOBAL AWARD 🏆
🌟 Congratulations, Guy! 🌟

What an incredible achievement! 🤩

After an outstanding week at the All England Dance National Final, our amazing Guy not only won his age group with his spectacular Russian solo, but he was also presented with the SENIOR GLOBAL AWARD – awarded to the dancer achieving the highest mark across ALL Senior Global sections! 🌟

We couldn’t be prouder of this truly outstanding accomplishment. Guy’s dedication, hard work and passion for dance continue to inspire us all. Congratulations, Guy – you thoroughly deserve this wonderful recognition! 👏✨

A huge thank you to Stas Pershin for his exciting and authentic choreography, and to everyone who has coached, encouraged, supported and cheered Guy on throughout his journey. ❤️

Unfortunately, Guy wasn’t able to collect his award in person as he had already headed off to his next exciting adventure at Tring Summer Course! We hope you’re having the most fantastic week, Guy – enjoy every minute! 🤩
