The Redcliffe Collective Young Artist Competition
Competition Time!

We’re proud to launch a super special children's art contest. If you’re aged 12 and under and you’d like to see your design on a mural this competition is for you!

The Redcliffe Collective invites you to design your very own arch. We’ll bring the winning design to life in one of our future community projects!

As you know our first mural on Redcliffe Street features 10 archways mirroring the iconic architecture found on the GWR Works building in the area. We assigned each archway to a different local artist and gave them creative freedom to design and paint something beautiful inspired by Swindon’s rich heritage. Now it's your turn!

The prize

Working with our artists we’ll take the winning design from paper to mural.

The artists in The Redcliffe Collective will judge the entries and will announce the winner on August 15th on Instagram and Facebook.

How to enter

Imagine an empty archway and fill it with what's important to you! What do you love about our home? What makes you beam like the sun with joy? What do you love about Swindon and Wiltshire?

FTAO Parents - to enter this competition:

Take a photo of your child’s work and post it on either Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok (Or all four if you like!?). Make sure you tag us (capitalise the T, R and C) so we can see your child’s design. Please include the artist's name & age and tell us a little about the design too!

Competition rules:
1: This competition is open to ages 12 and under.
2: Only one entry is allowed per child.
3: All entries must be received by midnight on Sunday 31st July 2022.
