Well I moved house this week, and moving my guitar stuff was a slightly bigger job than expected.................

I now have literally no idea who I am or what day it is. Pretty standard for me tbh.

Anyway, there`s a rumour going around that today is Tues, which means tomorrow might be Wed, and it`s BIG JAM WED!!!!!!!!!!!

If it is I`ll try and remember to be there.

Important announcement!!!!!!!

It has been suggested that my humorous post yesterday (mainly humorous to me, but that`s what matters!) may pose a significant health risk to patrons of the Big Jam and The Vic ('Swindon's best pub' tm)

The management would like to make it clear you should never ever actually offer to fight the drummer, no matter how many shots you've had or no matter how much your mates tell you its a good idea.

Especially not this drummer.

Anyone choosing to fight the drummer will be entirely responsible for their own medical bills, therapy and collection and reattachment of their own arms and legs.

We hope this is now clear.

So the football is over apparently!

This week the Common Wealth games are on. But as we know, we don't want to watch real athletes, we just want to watch 22 over paid bellends kick a ball back and forth for 90 mins, then discuss their own self importance.

So anyway, this week, the Big Jam is go go go!

You know the drill, its like the 1/2,time show, but better. And unfortunately we dont get paid $100m each. Bu**er.

Tomorrow night is Big Jam Night!!!!!!!!

Apparently something`s happening somewhere a little earlier - but that`s no excuse not to pop out later, hang out with the cool lions, see and play some fab live music, and celebrate / drown your sorrows (delete as appropriate).

Esme is quite used to pubs now, so i"m encouraging her to try her first Jam. Because she's written a Jam related original song. It goes:

Its currently over a post modern 80s Smiths style beat. But I think it would work better over a RATM style riff - especially the end bit which does admittedly veer a little from Jam more towards squirrels.........

Anyway, whether shes there or not, the next Big Jam is tomorrow.

This week is a Big Jam week - and it`s getting warmer ready for the Bank Holiday. About time.

So maybe view tomorrow night as a practice session for all the sunny funny to come at the weekend!

(Also, music, friends, beer, shots, dancing, karaoke, kebab, regret............ standard Wed in Swindon then really. )
