🎉 PARADE FLOAT RESULTS! 🎉

What a fantastic parade we had yesterday — the effort and creativity that went into every single float was just incredible! 🌟

Congratulations to the winners of our best dressed float …

🥇 Fab Lash & Beauty and Gugz n Oaks for their stunning Alice in Wonderland themed float — absolutely magical! 🌊✨

And a shoutout to…

💛 Pawsitivity for their brilliant 101 Dalmatians float — we were absolutely obsessed! 🐶🐾

💚 Waunarlwydd Juniors looked brilliant in their green and black, flying the flag for junior rugby in style! 🏉🖤💚

💜 Gower Galaxy brought a splash of purple to the parade and showed everyone what junior football is all about! ⚽💜

🌟 Party Pals for bringing Bluey, Bingo and Sonic along for the ride 💙💛💙

🌟 SPECS Spectrum who do such wonderful work supporting, playing and engaging with children on the spectrum — it was brilliant to have them as part of our parade!

A huge thank you also to everyone who put their bunting up this week — our streets looked absolutely wonderful and really helped make Waunarlwydd feel like the special place it is! 🎈💛

🎪 AND THAT’S A WRAP ON CARNIVAL 2026! 🎪

What an absolutely incredible day — Waunarlwydd, you truly outdid yourselves and we couldn’t be prouder! 💛✨

A huge, heartfelt thank you to absolutely everyone who helped make today possible:

🎶 Our wonderful performers — the Pipe Band, The Estuary Players, New Heights Performance Academy, D’Silver and The Spring playing in the Arena, hosted by our very own DJ Dan’s Disco. Plus the Pontardulais Brass Band for 2 fabulous sets in the club house.

🎉 Our amazing parade with floats from Waunarlwydd Juniors, Gower Galaxy, Pawsitivity, Fab Lash & Beauty and Gugz n Oaks, plus the Pipe Band, Party Pals Mascots and SPECS Spectrum walking alongside.

🌟 Our incredible sponsors and supporters — your generosity made this all possible. Hall bros for providing the lorries, Brisco for our skip, St John’s Ambulance, Wayne Harris Transport, Councillor Wendy Lewis.

🏉 Waunarlwydd Rugby Club for their fantastic support and for being such brilliant hosts.

🥳 Buzz Trampoline Park for the inflatable assault course and Theresa for supplying the bouncy castle.

🎉 THE PARADE 🎉

The Carnival Parade kicks off at 12pm from The Masons Arms — come and line the streets and give our incredible floats a brilliant send off! 🎉

The parade will make its way up towards Victoria Road, along Victoria Road, then turn down to Swansea Road by the dentist, past The Farmers Arms and back to The Masons Arms.
