The new experimental artspace, that’s neither studio or gallery, but somewhere in between; a space for you to experience live ongoing freshly created artwork, a window on contemporary arts practice in Swansea. This exciting insight into the work of our artists brings elements of the white glass box of the gallery and the secrecy of the artist’s studio to the High Street, a celebration of collaboration and public interaction, putting process on display, and will feature a mix of studio/exhibit/installation/performance/interaction/design based practices. A pilot project for a proposed city centre artist in residence programme, this project has been funded by the Welsh Church Act fund and supported by Coastal Housing group Swansea.
