We enjoyed each other's company this evening at The Gower Chorale's Summer Dinner at the Mayals Golf Club. Following a fulsome meal, Wendy Rippin (pictured with Richard and Sheila) was awarded with Life Membersip of The Gower Chorale, and Stuart Batcup gave a fascinating after dinner speech telling of his recent visit to St Asaph Cathedral as a recipient of Maundy Money from HM King Charles III.

The Gower Chorale's Summer Concert is Saturday 20th June at All Saints' Church, Oystermouth. Do come along!

Our programme features John Rutter's Psalmfest, alongside which will be other psalm-inspired pieces: I was glad - C Hubert H Parry, Laudate Dominum - Mozart, Dyrchafaf fy llygaid - T Hopkin Evans, Let the people praise thee - William Mathias, and Give unto the Lord - Edward Elgar.

Soloists are soprano Bethan Maria Evans and tenor Robyn Lyn Evans, accompanied by the Gower Chamber Ensemble and organist Stephen Power. Musical Director- Dr William Reynolds

The Gower Chorale is delighted that Stuart Batcup (one of our tenors) had the honour of being presented with Maundy money from HM King Charles III at St Asaph Cathedral on Maundy Thursday. Congratulations, Stuart!
