Mellin Theatre Arts is a professional Theatre School based is Swansea Grand Theatre but also continuing online training throughout the pandemic. The school established and run by Louise Mellin Dip Professional Dance (Trinity level 6) F.I.S.T.D (MT) F.I.S.T.D (TD), Contemporary Istd, RAD (mutual member) A.I.D.T.A, Acrobatic Arts Certified, PBT Certified Instructor, Pilates Plexsis. Miss Louise has
always strived to ensure students receive the best training as well as nurturing students throughout their time at the school. The school has grown to to offer Acrodance classes and exams as well as Drama and Singing classes taught by industry professionals with the opportunity to achieve LAMDA exams. Students have previously gone on to gain places and graduate from Laine Theatre Arts, Performers College, Tiffany Theatre College, SLP, Wilkes Academy and London Studio Centre. Many students study towards exams which MTA holds a 100% pass rate but also helps provide all students theatre and performance experience in school shows on the Grand Theatre Stage, Qdos Pantomimes, Touring Variety Shows, The Lord Mayors Ball, Catherine Zeta-Jones Freedom of City Award, The Mocky Horror Ball, Enjoy Swansea Events, JR Events at the Brangwyn Hall and opening the Serendome at Bluestone National Park. Since the pandemic MTA was one of the first schools in the country to take all 50+ classes online, with a professional team of highly trained teachers and licensed chaperones the school has continued to achieve delivering top quality theatre and dance classes.
