Chris and I have just finished packing the kiln for what will probably be the last firing we do here at Bridge Pottery. It has been a fun and easy working together. This will be our 28th firing.

Chris and I are looking forward to packing the kiln next week. Looking back over some past firings always helps to prepare us.

Excited to share this mid summer firing with some lovely potters who have all worked with me at some point over the years.

I’m a bit of a tight kiln packer, so these small tiles slot in between the pots. I really enjoy decorating them too . It’s a chance to test slips and test my decoration on a very small scale.
