Below is important information to make your appointment go as smooth as possible for both yourself and our team members. Please make sure you eat at least an hour before your appointment, we cannot stress enough how important it is that you eat a sufficient meal before you come to get your Tattoo. You are more than welcome to bring a drink and some snacks to get you through your Tattoo. You may br

ing one person to your appointment with you, please do not bring children into the studio, no exceptions. Please bring valid ID to your appointment, this can be a passport or drivers licence. Failure to do so may result in you not getting tattooed and you will lose your booking fee. We will not Tattoo any person under the age of 18, this is the law. If you are under 18 and have booked an appointment then you will lose your booking fee. All booking fees are non refundable but can be transfered to a later date as long as 72 hours notice has been given. We understand that sometimes things happen out of your control which may mean you are unable to give more than 72 hours notice to rebook or cancel but unfortunately we cannot make exceptions for anyone. If we did this our artists would not earn a living. Your booking fee secures your appointment date and time needed for the design you have chosen, if you have not paid your fee within 24 hours, then your appointment has not been confirmed and may be cancelled. Please be clear of the design that you want before you book an appointment. It can take our artist hours to put a design together for you and making major alterations within days of your appointment will not give them enough time to change it. Minor changes are fine but if you wish to make major changes to your design we may have to rebook your appointment and you may also lose your booking fee. Please be aware that your artist has booked a specific time slot for you and they have quoted you a price for this time. If you then decide to change the design that results in the time being drastically reduced then you will still be charged the original price. If you are planning on going on holiday, swimming or using a hot tub within 3 weeks of your tattoo then it would be advised to rebook your appointment as sun, sea water and pools/tubs are very damaging to your tattoo. We recommend exfoliating the area a day or 2 before, this helps to remove dead skin cell build up and can make the Tattoo procedure more comfortable and can give better healing results. Please do not shave or moisturise the evening before or the day of the Tattoo. If you wish to use numbing agents please let us know prior to so we can advise the best way to apply it. We do not supply numbing creams. If you are unwell please do not attend your appointment. Our artists will go through aftercare at your appointment with you, we also have a range of aftercare creams available to purchase. We have moved to 43 gower Road, sketty, sa2 9bx

📚 Do you love reading? Golden Hera is starting its very own book club and we'd love for you to join us. We will be holding it once a month at the studio (dates to be confirmed). There will be a small fee of £10 which will include a monthly discussion booklet and refreshments on the evening. This is a great opportunity to make new friends and share your passion for books. We're looking to see how much interest there would be as there will be limited spaces. Finding a reputable piercer that uses actual safe materials can be confusing, especially when there are so many that say they use "implant safe titanium" and unfortunately it's not always that straightforward. Using this term is pretty much the same as saying "surgical steel", it's sound safe but in reality, it's simply misleading. ASTM.org (American society of testing and materials) do specific testing on materials and provide documentation called Mills certificates, which is an official quality assurance document issued by a manufacturer. It certifies a metal product's chemical composition, mechanical properties, and compliance with international standards. Kind of like how the assay office does official testing of gold! So if your ever unsure, just ask your piercer.
