The first two days we have been focusing on intimacy between the characters with our Intimacy Director and day 3 has been busy with scene running and performance art with our director and writer .creative and our dramaturg

Inside her mind where abuse and trauma burns like a raging fire she can’t control. We all know her story. Her relationship. But what if it wasn’t as romantic as it seemed?’

Creature of Coercion’s second work in progress showing will be on Saturday 22nd April. We would love to share what we’ve been up to with as many people as possible, so if you’re in the Newport area pop us a message or follow the link in the bio to let us know you’re coming!

Sorry we have been silent for a while but we have big news to share that we've been working on.

Two weeks ago Human Alien Theatre Company had it's 1st Birthday. As a developing theatre company, it's great for us to see our journey from where we started to where we are now.

The day after we turned one years old and after 6 months of our co-founder .creative applying for an Individual funding grant, she got the email so say that her Arts Council Wales funding application for her April R&D for Creature of Coercion had been accepted! She is very excited that her creation is going to be workshopped and to develop her skills as a director and writer.

We are very excited to share with you the journey of this R&D and will be posting about the cast & crew additions and process as we go along. We are a developing theatre company and one day hope to become an officially registered company in our own right but for now, more info to come in the next week or so but please share in our excitement as we go into the first stages of Creature of Coercion.
