Inspired by ’ post today (go see it!), I wanted to add my own from a mermaid for 🧜🏼♀️ 💙
⛅️ Morning pages was a concept I happened upon a couple of years ago through ’s YouTube channel (her morning routine videos are massively helpful if you hate mornings like I usually do..!) The idea of writing everything and anything that’s on your mind first thing is surprisingly relieving for my anxiety, helps me feel in control of my day and how I tackle it is so much clearer after a page or two (or three if there’s a lot on my mind.)
🌳 Of course, get outside. If it’s even 10 minutes of your break in the day, I promise you’ll feel so much better. Sometimes literally stepping away from your work, your to-dos, for 10 mins is all we need to breathe and reset our brains a little. Extra points for if you can get to a green or blue space (areas with grass and trees or water).
👤 Doing things solo where it’s safe to, isn’t a bad thing. Taking solo beach and woodland walks are some of my favourite things to do for myself.
👯♀️ Finding people who share in your passions and hobbies (even if you can’t do them often together) is my top tip. Honestly, not much makes you feel better spending time with people who make you feel recharged socially rather than drained.
What would you add as your wellness tips?
