Station 18 Festival 2025 – Cancellation

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we have to make this announcement. With the phenomenal support of all who have attended Station 18 over the last three years we’ve had an incredible journey. However, with many individual factors not working in our favour we have sadly reached the end of the road for our festival.

Geographically Swansea is a bit out on a limb and in these challenging times in financial terms we recognise that the cost of travel is one factor, amongst many, that prospective attendees will take into consideration before committing. Another factor that has had a negative impact is that accommodation prices have seen huge increases with Tunes On The Bay festival happening in Swansea the same weekend.

In addition to these two costings, we are also seeing an increase in the number of similar festivals across the UK in a market that is becoming increasingly saturated. Whilst we applaud all those that make the brave and most laudable move into promoting live music events this factor coupled with the natural, and understandable, rise in band fees has increased the difficulty in providing a value for money event that stands out yet remains within our budget.

We are so very sorry that we have reached this juncture. We have explored many options to ‘rescue’ the weekend in one form or another, but none proved to be viable. As such we will be refunding all those wonderful folks who have purchased tickets via our ticket selling partner ticket24/7 in due course.

Words can't express how delighted we are at Station 18 to see our Friday headliners on the poster for this year's Bloodstock Festival !! Thoroughly deserved !!

Fantastic to see Häxan, She Burns Red and South Of Salem - who have also played at S18 - on the poster too !!

Well, that was absolutely magical what can we say! From the whole team here we wish to thank all the people who made this year so special, from everyone that bought a ticket and came to the festival, to the photographers, press, and all the bands that performed over the weekend.

We honestly thought this would be the last one a few months ago, but a few weeks ago we decided it's just too special to stop and with the atmosphere over the weekend, it just confirmed that we would be insane not to do another one.

So here we have it.... Station 18 Festival 2025, coming back for a 5th time to Swansea on the same weekend a year from now. If you believe in what we do, then we have exclusive early bird tickets on sale at https://ticket247.co.uk/Event/299411 until midnight tonight. These tickets are £10 cheaper than the weekend general release tickets as a thank you for your support and loyalty to the festival.
