Robbie is an illustrator from West Wales who mainly uses ink and digital. He takes inspiration from nature, myth and folklore and enjoys drawing characters and imagery from those stories.

Darlunydd o Orllewin Cymru yw Robbie sydd yn gweithio drwy gyfrwng inc a chelf digidol yn bennaf. Ysbrydolir Robbie gan fyd natur, mytholeg a llên gwerin, ac mae’n mwynhau dylunio cymeriadau a delweddau o’r straeon hynny.

Charlotte Parker is a Scottish artist who likes to focus on character design, utilising digital art and her ipad to bring characters to life. She is also skilled at using resin to create products to sell on Etsy, alongside her stickers. These resin crafts include keyrings, coasters, trinket dishes and dice.

Artist Albaneg ydy Charlotte Parker, sy’n ffocysu ar ddylunio cymeriadau drwy gelf digidol ar yr iPad. Mae Charlotte hefyd yn creu crefftau resin megis torchau allweddi, disiau, desgilau tlysau a matiau diod, ac yn eu gwerthu ar Etsy.

Nate Scott is a 21 year old illustrator from Wales. He has been drawing ever since he was a young child and enjoys all things colourful and bright! His work is most recognisable for its unique and quirky art style, cohesive colour palette and character based illustrations. As well as being a full time student, Nate also runs his Etsy shop which sells art prints and stickers, and he aims to continue running his shop after graduating, alongside other freelance work.

Darlunydd 21 mlwydd oed o Gymru yw Nate Scott. Mae wedi bod yn darlunio ers ei fod yn blentyn ifanc, ac yn mwynhau popeth lliwgar a llachar. The purpose of this exhibition- and in reference to the meaning of our chosen title, Anrhydedd - is to display a sense of pride and honour in what we have achieved this year in conditions that could often be very trying, and showcase the progression in our professional skills and illustrative techniques.

We have all worked extremely hard to achieve an exhibition that we are both proud of and excited to share with you all.

Bow Chloe is an illustrator with a passion for story telling. She believes hard hitting issues can be tackled and translated through illustration with the use of fictional characters of all kinds. Bow Chloe aims to design work that is fun and challenging to the viewer, whether you are three or ninety-three!

Mae Bow Chloe yn ddarlunnudd sydd gyda angerdd ar gyfer adrodd stori. Mae hi’n credu gall materion difrifol cael eu taclo a’u cyfiaethu drwy darluniau gyda defnydd cymeriadau ffuglen o bob math. Mae Bow Chloe yn anelu i ddarlunio gwaith sydd yn hwyl ac herfeiddiol i unrhyw wyliwr, p’un a ydynt yn dair, neu yn nawdeg tri!

Carys Elen Walsh is an illustrator who hopes to specialise in all manner of story illustration. She’s drawn to film, with particular interest in the works of Wes Anderson and Hayao Miyazaki, and takes artistic inspiration from the art nouveau period of the early 1900s. Stemming from a teenage love of all things costume design, Carys has a passion for the past, and much of her work revolves around the attire from times gone by.

Darlunydd yw Carys Elen Walsh, sy’n bwriadu arbennigo ym maes darlunio storïau. Mae diddordeb ganddi ym myd ffilmiau, yn arbennig rhai Wes Anderson ac Hayao Miyazaki. Mae’n cael ei hysbrydoli gan gyfnod yr Art Nouveau o’r 1900au. Dechreuodd ei diddordeb mewn dyluniad gwisgoedd tra yn ei harddegau, ac mae llawer o’i gwaith wedi ei ddylanwadu gan ddillad o’r oes a fu.

Lee Thomas is an illustrator from Wales who focuses on traditional and digital artwork. His style is often surreal and playful, mixing a cartoon style and colouring with more realistic shading and textures, to create a purposefully naïve yet self aware style of artwork. He enjoys using occult symbolism and creating characters in his artwork, usually represented in a cartoon-like way but with a deeper meaning. He often creates colourful artwork inspired by animation and his favourite cartoons, and also black and white artwork inspired by gothic subcultures and esoteric philosophy. His favourite artists are James Jean for his dreamlike landscapes and characters, and Tenhundred for his contemporary, cartoon influenced artwork and how he uses colour.

Mae’n mwynhau defnyddio symbolaeth ocwlt a phortreadu cymeriadau yn ei waith mewn arddull cartŵn, ond âg ystyron dwys. Mae’n creu celf lliwgar sydd wedi ei ysbrydoli gan animeiddio a’i hoff gartwnau. Hefyd, mae’n hoff o greu gwaith du a gwyn sydd wedi ei ddylanwadu gan is-ddiwylliant Gothig ac athroniaeth gudd. Ei hoff artistiaid yw James Jean a’i dirweddau a chymeridau breuddwydiol, a Tenhundred am ei waith celf cyfoes sydd â dylanwad cartwnaidd, a’i ddefnydd o liw.

Shawna Wright’s work is inspired by anything and everything. By exploring aesthetics through the process of her art, she represents her freedom to create for the sake of creating. After graduation Shawna intends to persue her dream of entering the tattoo industry.

Maisie Tuckett is an illustrator and visual activist from Bristol who uses urban and political themes in a lot of her heavily graphic work. Maisie works traditionally and digitally for pieces that emphasise and highlight important messages that can be more interestingly interpreted through illustration. She is interested in poster art and branding and works in a range of styles that are applied to different themes which she hopes to continue trying her hand at by working on a variety of artistic work in the future.

Chelsea Hall is an illustrator based in Rhondda Valleys in Wales, a location which inspires every aspect of her work. She lives at home with her parent and her gorgeous miniature schnauzer, Bertie, who is her biggest supporter. Chelsea enjoys using bright and fun colours, and exploring a wide range of subjects, and her illustrations reflect this in their unique and quirky style. She hopes to open an online shop with her mother soon, to sell cards, stickers and funky embroidery hangings.

Mae Chelsea Hall yn ddarlunudd o Rhondda yng Nghymru, lleoliad sydd yn ysbrydoli pob rhan o’i gwaith hi. Mae hi’n byw adref gyda’i rhieni ac ei chi hyfryd, Bertie, sef ei chefnogwr mwyaf. Joshua Owens is currently in his third year studying BA Illustration and is from Swansea, South Wales. His preferred method of creating is using traditional mediums- often combining properties of varying mediums in unison with one another- to create emotional, thought-provoking and entertaining images or compositions in a realistic style. His adoration of movies and the process of creating films often inspires and informs his illustration work, while also taking elements of historical art movements to create work that is atmospheric and dynamic while still remaining grounded in realism.

Ar hyn o bryd mae Joshua Owens yn astudio yn ei drydydd flwyddyn Darlunio BA, ac mae o Abertawe, yng Cymru. Ei hoff ffurf o greu yw defnyddio cyfryngau traddodiadol - yn aml yn cyfuno cyfryngau - i greu gwaith emosiynol a diddorol mewn steil realistig. Alys’ work uses both traditional and digital methods. Her interest in illustration, graphics and advertising gives her the opportunity to explore different styles and ideas for each project. Using her welsh language skills, Alys has been able to work with people from a number of creative backgrounds allowing her to broaden her knowledge of the creative industry. After graduating, Alys would like to pursue a career in publishing either in book cover design or marketing.

Mae gwaith Alys yn defnyddio dulliau traddodiadol a digidol. Mae eu diddordeb mewn darlunio, graffeg a hysbysebu yn rhoi cyfle iddi archwilio gwahanol arddulliau a syniadau ar gyfer pob prosiect. Gan ddefnyddio ei sgiliau iaith Gymraeg, mae Alys wedi gallu gweithio gyda phobl o nifer o gefndiroedd creadigol gan ganiatáu iddi ehangu ei gwybodaeth am y diwydiant creadigol. Ar ôl graddio, hoffai Alys ddilyn gyrfa mewn cyhoeddi naill ai mewn dylunio clawr llyfrau neu farchnata.
