Introducing our new Deputy Accompanist Carys Jones....
Carys gained her degree in Music and diploma in Piano at the Royal college of Music London. She has had an active musical career as a performer and teacher. She counts her highlights as teaching pupils who went on to win at festivals in Harrogate, Ilkley and Wharfedale and performances of her own original composition by 40 of her pupils.
In Wales, she has worked as the Principal of Stagecoach Theatre Performing Arts School nurturing many pupils to the stage.
Accompanying singers and instrumentalists has been a key part of her career and we are delighted that she has joined us. She has already accompanied us in our recent successful performance at the Festival of Female Voices and we look forward to many more performances together in the future!
