Our next gig on Thursday 6th August will feature Mark Waistell. Mark is a singer-songwriter based in Devon, and is a late returnee to the folk/acoustic world after about 35 years away. Following his retirement in 2022, he's enjoying "travelling around the sticky floors and outside loos of folk clubs, acoustic cafes, arts centres, village halls and festivals".

Also on the bill will be Rhythm and Roots, a duo comprising Richard Wirdnam (accordion, vocals) and Barry Limburn (percussion). They have performed on the local music scene for many years and were in three different bands together: Diggory Venn, Triskele and Klezmerconcordion. In addition, Richard has been a member of Murphy’s Lore Ceilidh Band. Barry has performed with Djambo and still plays regularly with Soldoro. Their musical interests are many and varied so…expect the unexpected.
