CONGRATULATIONS to Kayla Gaskell Who has successfully been offered a place on The EDGE Senior Associate Programme commencing this September.
EDGE is an Elite Pre-Vocational training course led by West End Professionals Emily Goodenough (currently in the West End’s production of ‘Wicked’) and Adam Denman (teacher at Bird College & Laine Theatre Arts) The course also features industry guest teachers each month, helping explore new styles, technique and performance skills.
We are very excited for you Kayla and know that you will gain so much from this highly reputable, professional training.
We as teachers have a duty to guide our pupils and students who wish to pursue a career in The Performing Arts, to carefully select the best additional training for their futures. Associate programmes are now plentiful, but care and attention must be taken by all of us to assess these programmes thoroughly, ensuring that our children receive the best additional training and outcomes they deserve and pay for. These opportunities are such wonderful experiences, but in some cases extortionate costs are now sadly the focus, making dance less and less available and affordable for all.

Jazz A are loving their class with guest teacher and former pupil, Liv Marcus.

It’s incredibly exciting for the girls to work with new teachers and choreographers, exploring different styles and broadening their experience. Opportunities like these help build valuable connections and open doors into the commercial dance world.

We are excited to announce our Summer Talent Show for students in Jazz 3 and above, Primary Ballet and above, Contemporary 1 and above, and Musical Theatre 1 and above!

This is a fantastic opportunity to get creative, showcase your talents, and have fun. Whether you love dancing, singing, or a combination of both, we’d love to see what you can do!

You can choose your own music and perform as a soloist, with a partner, or as part of a group – it’s entirely up to you.

Talent Show Guidelines:
• Your performance must be between 1 and 2 minutes.
• You may dance, sing, or combine both in your routine.
• Costumes, fancy dress, and performance outfits are encouraged – feel free to get creative and make your performance unique!
• Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the experience.

We can’t wait to see all of your amazing performances and celebrate the incredible talent within our school.

Unfortunately, due to the flooring, we are unable to include tap dance in this year’s competition.

🌍✨ International Dance Day ✨🌍

Dance is more than movement it’s a universal language that speaks without words. It tells stories, expresses emotions, and connects people across cultures, ages, and backgrounds.

Dance inspires everyone differently. For some, it’s a creative escape. For others, it’s a form of confidence, discipline, or even healing. It teaches resilience, teamwork, and self-expression, while also being an amazing way to stay active and healthy both physically and mentally. Most importantly, dance reminds us to be present, to let go, and to celebrate who we are.

Ranger School of Dance offers a whole range of classes for children and adults. Every dancer’s journey is unique, and this is a place where that journey can begin, evolve, and flourish.

So today, take a moment to move, to feel, and to celebrate the power of dance.

Saturday mornings are dedicated to our youngest dancers. These classes offer a gentle introduction to ballet and movement, brought to life through storytelling. Led by Miss Nat and Miss Sarah, each session is engaging, imaginative, and full of fun, using props to spark creativity and inspire little ones to explore movement in a playful way.
