Our School is for anyone that wishes to experience dance and all the benefits it offers each of us individually. The joy of movement and freedom of expression is

Our new term starts week commencing 21st September, and we’re excited to welcome everyone back.

There have been some class changes, so please check the timetable carefully for your class, day and time. Parents have also been sent separate emails regarding individual class changes, including students who are moving up to a new class.

Would you like to try a new dance class? Or perhaps your child is interested in joining us for the first time?

Our FREE TASTER WEEK is the perfect opportunity to come along and try any of our classes before signing up and it’s also open to our current students who would like to try a new style of dance or have a go at singing in Musical Theatre.

“I’m currently going into my 3rd year of training at The Brighton Academy. Our next production is Catch Me If You Can, and I’ve been lucky enough to be given the leading role of Paula.
I’ve had the best last two years and am so grateful I followed my gut and pursued something I truly love. I will always have Ranger School of Dance to thank, as they taught me not only how to dance, but also how to be disciplined — one of the most important things when going into full-time musical theatre training.
It has been a lot of hard work, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Bring on grad year!” ✨

Ranger School of Dance is delighted to invite you and your little one to a FREE & INCLUSIVE dance workshop! 💕
Calling all 3 & 4 year olds! Come along with a parent and discover the joy of dance through movement, music, interactive stories and creativity in our safe, friendly and welcoming studio.
We’ll enjoy 2 x 20-minute fun-filled sessions, with a short break in between:

Tutus, Tiaras, wizards & wands / Fairies & pirates - introduction to Ballet

Boogie Woogies - introduction to Jazz

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience two different styles of dance, have lots of fun and see which class your little dancer enjoys most! ✨

We pride ourselves on smaller class sizes, so spaces for this special workshop will be limited.

✨ Swanage Carnival 2026 ✨

On Sunday 26th July, the Ranger School of Dance was incredibly proud to perform in the Arena at Sandpit Field as part of Swanage Carnival.

From our youngest dancers, some just 5 years old, to our senior students, every single performer danced with such confidence, enthusiasm and joy. Watching them shine on stage—especially knowing that confidence doesn’t always come easily—was truly heartwarming and reminds us why we do what we do. 💙

Every dancer was an absolute credit to the school, to their families, and most importantly, to themselves. We couldn’t be prouder.

We were completely overwhelmed by the number of people who came along to support us. The wonderful comments, messages and feedback we’ve received have been incredible—thank you to everyone who cheered us on and made the day so special. 🙏

None of this would be possible without our amazing team of teachers and parents. A huge thank you to Sue, Beth, Sarah, Gemma, Mandy, Marie, Aga, Abi, Mandi, Brooke, Cerys and Cher for everything you do.

A special thank you also to Pawel, Ricky, Peter and Daniel for putting up the marquees, generously donated by Neal Hendes of Camelot Marquees Ltd, and to Mat for keeping everything running smoothly on PA. Your support means the world.

Congratulations to all of our end of year award winners!
We would also like to recognise every single student. You have all worked incredibly hard, shown great dedication and determination, and should be very proud of everything you have achieved this term. Keep believing in yourselves, continue working hard, and most importantly, keep enjoying your classes.
This term, we were also proud to present the Alistair Moss Dancer of the Year Award, which was awarded to Kayla Gaskall. Congratulations, Kayla, on this well-deserved achievement!
Finally, a huge well done to everyone who entered our Summer Talent Competition. You were all amazing, and it was an incredibly difficult decision for our judges, Beth and Oscar.
