Sandra Robinson and Gary Saunders and Gary Jackson have re-launched the Sutton Coldfield acoustic Guitar club since its closure due to Covid. The club runs every first Tuesday of the month. All invited singer guitarists

listeners and particularly instrumentalists welcome. We charge just £3 for all at the door to cover room fee. The club was originally founded in the 90’s by Maurice Dolphin and Friends at the Sutton Coldfield Sailing Club at Sutton Park, and featured many superb guitar instrumentalists. Since then
An inclusive friendly club offering a performance platform featuring acoustic guitar instrumentalists of all levels styles. Singers and listeners welcome! Originally started In the 90's held at the Sailing Club at Sutton Park by Maurice Dolphin. The club was then taken by by Mark Holly, who retired moving out of the area then Martin and Pauline Rigby until Covid brought about temporary closure and a need to change the venue. They are now also relocating hence Sandra Robinson, Gary Saunders and Gary Jackson are now organisers of the Club. It was great to see them at the last Cheque-Mates, and wish them all the best on their eventual house move. Please like and follow and spread the word and post (positive!) comments! We plan to invite feature and guest instrumentalists and artists in the future. How to get there by bus:
Get any of the 'X' buses to Sutton Coldfield, or get the Tamworth 110 will drop you in Recory Road itself outside the venue! The Legion Club

Dear all,

It's nearly time for the next meeting of the acoustic guitar club which is on Tuesday 5th May at the Legion Club. We hope to see as many of you as possible - doors open at 7:30.

We had another really good turnout in April. A review of that evening is attached.

The rock/pop world has lost a number of stars in the last few days: Dave Mason of Traffic, a Ronette and an Osmond. Who's your money on to play "Hole in My Shoe", "Be My Baby" or "Crazy Horses"? Emoji

As ever, please spread the word. We welcome anyone of any ability playing any type of music as well as spectators. The more people we can get there, the better for us and for the social club.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Tuesday 5th May.
