It's now time to meet the loveable and friendly stripper, whose loves a good cracker!
It's the amazing Dave... introducing Luke Saldana.
🚨| After more than 10 years of acting and performing, Luke is thrilled to be taking on the role of Dave in Simon Beaufoy’s The Full Monty at Sutton Arts Theatre.
Dave is a lovable bear with a quick wit, but beneath the humour he’s battling unemployment, depression and a loveless marriage in post-industrial Sheffield. It’s a challenging, funny and surprisingly moving role, and one he has absolutely loved getting stuck into.
This is Luke’s third production with Sutton Arts Theatre, following his previous roles as Croker, in Wait Until Dark and last season, as Chris Baxter in John Godber’s On the Piste.
Having trained at East 15 Acting School, Luke has always loved the opportunity to throw himself into characters that challenge him and Dave certainly does that!
His favourite line? “Clingfilm, I’m not a chicken drumstick!”
And as for the challenge of baring all on stage… well, it was an opportunity he simply couldn’t turn down!
