Our amazing Box Office volunteers will be taking a well-deserved summer break from Monday 20 July to Tuesday 4 August.

During this period, our Box Office will be closed for in-person and telephone bookings.

🎭 You can still book tickets anytime online at www.suttonartstheatre.co.uk, so you won’t miss out on any of our upcoming productions and events.

Our volunteers will return on Wednesday 5 August refreshed and ready to help.

THE FULL MONTY!

Our next show at Sutton Arts Theatre will be our first show and play of the 2026/27 season - THE FULL MONTY.

Sometimes you have to bare everything! As we approach the 30th Anniversary of the iconic smash hit film, Sutton Arts Theatre is thrilled to bring The Full Monty to the stage. Simon Beaufoy’s heartfelt and hilarious play remains as relevant today as ever, with the story once again resonating in the midst of a cost of living crisis. It follows a group of ordinary men struggling to rediscover hope, purpose and pride during difficult times. Down on their luck but determined to fight back, they find themselves baring a little more than they ever thought possible.

We’re so close to completing our fantastic cast for The Full Monty… but we’re still looking for one very special performer to bring Horse to life.

We’re ideally seeking a Black male performer age 40+, to join our talented company for this heartwarming, hilarious and unforgettable production.

Horse is one of the show’s most beloved characters, warm, soulful, quietly confident and full of heart. With his Northern Soul influence and signature throwback dance moves, he brings his own unique style and spirit to the group.

Whether you’re an experienced performer, would like the opportunity to perform or know someone who would be perfect for the role, we’d love to hear from you.

✨ And just like that…the final curtain falls. ✨

What an unforgettable journey it has been.

As we say goodbye to Rent, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to every single person who made this production so special.

To our phenomenal cast, thank you for pouring your hearts into every performance, bringing these iconic characters to life with passion, honesty and extraordinary talent.

To our dedicated crew, production team and to all the volunteers that make a show possible we thank you for the countless hours behind the scenes and throughout each performance for your unwavering commitment, creativity and hard work. None of this would have been possible without you.

And to our incredible audiences, thank you for laughing, crying, cheering, standing to applaud and supporting us throughout this production. Your energy and enthusiasm filled the theatre every night and we are super grateful!

Over the past week, we’ve celebrated love, friendship, hope and community both on and off stage and have made memories that will stay with us long after the lights go down.
