A WEDDING VENUE ROOTED IN HISTORY AND MEANING
Set in the Surrey Hills, Burrows Lea Country House is a historic property with a distinct background and purpose. Originally owned by the Coleman family, it was later acquired by the spiritual healer Harry Edwards as his work expanded. He was attracting large audiences, including events at the Royal Albert Hall, and required a permanent base to support his work and the people involved in it.

Recently we welcomed Tom and the team from Honest Cook to Burrows Lea Country House for a corporate tasting experience, showcasing just how memorable a business gathering can be when you step away from the office.

From beautifully presented canapés and seasonal dishes to inspiring surroundings in the Surrey Hills, the day was a reminder that some of the best ideas emerge when people have space to connect, think and collaborate.

Sometimes all it takes is a few people saying "yes".

When we asked for help creating some wedding inspiration at Burrows Lea, a fantastic group of local suppliers generously gave their time, talent and creativity to help us showcase some of the possibilities for couples considering the venue for their special day.

From flowers and table styling to stationery, photography and cakes, every detail was thoughtfully brought together to create these beautiful settings.

As we continue to develop Burrows Lea as a wedding venue, we are incredibly grateful for the support we have received from local businesses who have been willing to share their expertise and help us along the way.
