Year 9 lessons finished up with a pewter cast and acrylic key ring for the summer term. For some this marked the end of Design & Technology at school as they continue to GCSEs in different subjects.

It was an unexpected privilege to teach my daughter in my training year and I will greatly miss her familiar, smiling face in class this September and I am glad she got to create a character she loves so much, Spider-man, as her final make before she heads off to other subjects. And we got to do it together 😍

Working on this Elephant was a school break well spent - It was a great experience for Bee and we loved having the ‘brother’ elephant from the Infant and Junior school with us too, to get his top coat.

They have headed off with the herd for the summer now, and we are looking forward to spotting them out in the wild this summer.

For anyone visiting the trail - selfies taken with our trunk-tastic pals are welcome 😉
