Abigail is currently preparing for her Grade 7 LAMDA Musical Theatre examination, working on the beautiful song My Grand Plan from The Lightning Thief.

Grade 7 is an advanced qualification that demands strong acting, singing and performance skills and can also contribute valuable UCAS points towards future university applications.

Abigail has been working incredibly hard in rehearsals, bringing confidence, determination and character to her performance.

Olivia and Isabella are making fantastic progress as they work towards their LAMDA Acting Exams this July.

At Northern Star Theatre Arts, we are proud to act as a private examination centre for the prestigious LAMDA Acting and Musical Theatre qualifications, giving our students the opportunity to develop confidence, communication skills, and performance technique.

We’re now over halfway through rehearsals, with both girls showing great commitment and enthusiasm each week.

At Northern Star Theatre Arts, creativity is encouraged from day one!

In this week’s drama lesson, our youngest performers took part in a fun imagination exercise. Using a simple object as their starting point, they had to think creatively and act out what else it could be. From magical adventures to everyday objects, there were no wrong answers just lots of imagination, confidence, and laughter!

Drama helps children develop creativity, communication skills, confidence, and the ability to think outside the box, all while having lots of fun with friends.
