Timepiece, a new audio-visual artwork by Ross Millard, Jeremy Bradfield and Ben Lawrence, will greet visitors to Culture House Sunderland with a living snapshot of the city. The artists are gathering photos that capture everyday moments, recognisable locations and the people who call Sunderland home.

We’re proud to support Sunderland’s own Jill Scott - JS8 as she takes on Jill Scott's Coming Home Challenge for Sport Relief 💛

From Monday 8 to Friday 12 June, Jill will be running and cycling an incredible 388 miles from Wembley Stadium back to Sunderland, finishing at the Stadium of Light 🏃‍♀️🚴‍♀️

This powerful challenge is all about giving back – raising money for Sport Relief-funded projects that use sport to help people feel safe, supported and connected when they need it most.

As her home city, we’d love to see Sunderland get behind her.

Whether you’re following her journey, sharing your support or heading out to cheer her on, it all helps create a special homecoming 🎉

We’re looking for a Digital Systems Administrator to join the team at Culture House Sunderland.

In this role (part time, 25 hpw), you’ll lead on the day-to-day administration and optimisation of key digital systems – from ticketing and website content to event scheduling and customer engagement – helping to create a seamless and high quality digital experience.

You’ll also support systems across Culture House and our wider Creative Smart City Hub Library services, working with teams to keep everything running smoothly.
