I’ve been having fun today!!
These gorgeous vintage style chocolate tins contain a whole lot of loveliness!
For the larger blue tins I have raided my stash of carefully hoarded vintage fabrics, lace, trims, buttons, napkins, embroidered tray cloths, maps, encyclopaedias and books etc to put together some exciting mixed media ephemera kits and I have also included some of my own hand dyed pure silk embroidery threads and a retro style “Sewing Susan” set of needles
There are hexie templates and some of the papers have been cut into heart or leaf shapes to use as embellishments
The photo of the “Heidi” mixed media panel was made from a different kit but shows you the kind of thing you could make with your treasures 🧵
In the smaller red tins I’ve put Hexie paper piecing sets.
The hexies are smaller than the ones in my cotton reel tins and the pieces of Liberty print patchwork cotton are also smaller, but I’ve included some beautiful patchwork fabric printed with text and handwriting to blend with the Liberty to make a different type of project. There are hexagon templates, Gutterman sewing thread, needle and tiny mother of pearl buttons
Each tin is different and contents shown in the photos will vary
I had great fun putting them together for you and hope you will love them!
