My 6th and final new kit for Newark Knitting and Wool Show doesn’t have an autumnal theme and isn’t knitting or crochet but I hope you’ll like my new felt butterfly brooches with their scrappy Liberty Lawn patches, vintage buttons, silk embroidery thread and tiny seed beads

The kit all fits inside a little tin and is such a relaxing and mindful stitching project!

The first of my 5 new kits launching at Newark Knitting and Wool Show this weekend is a fun and easy crochet pouch using lovely mini balls of Scheepjes Catona and a pre-made pencil case for a piece-of-cake lining!

I have different colourways too! Vintage, Bright, Blue Greens, Blossom and Autumn!

We’re ready for Newark Knitting and Wool Show and soooooo ready for Autumn - are you ready for us??

Autumn is my FAVOURITE season - so many crafty ideas to play with - and I’ve been PLAYING!!

I think I have at least FIVE new autumnal kits to launch this weekend plus another that’s a little less seasonal (although I do have plans for an autumnal tweak or two ☺️)

But if you are not coming to Newark I’m afraid you’ll have to wait to see what’s left next week!!

Everyone should get a happy birthday tent* in the garden for their birthday!!!

I’m going to have the BEST day!!

The shop is CLOSED today - but OPEN on Wednesday and Thursday and the SALE runs until midnight tonight - plus I’ve added some bargainous sock yarns!!

*the tent itself is one we’ve had for ages but not used for a decade at least, but my family know how much I love sitting in a little tent in the garden in the summer so for my birthday upscaled it BIG time!! I’m going to play in here all day - books, knitting, board games and all meals please!! 🤣

Carol brought her beautiful Look Squirrel Cardigan by Casapinka to show us at Knit Group on Saturday and she liked the Organic Trio yarn so much she was already knitting a new top in the leaf green (Mellow Mood) - but I forgot to take a photo!

Lots of other customers have been knitting extra garments with the yarn because it is so nice to work with and the Look Squirrel cardigan is still super popular - which isn’t surprising when it only takes 4 balls to make up to the 5th size (and only X for the largest!)

At £4.75 this is an incredibly affordable, LUXURY yarn with its blend of organic wool, cotton and silk!

I’ll definitely be bringing cardigan packs AND extra balls to Newark Knitting and Wool Show next weekend!!
