The Big Picture

The Big Picture Sunderland sees The Big Picture Members of the public created a small artwork in either glass, ceramics or wood in an Olympic and Paralympic sporting theme.

At the Sunderland in 2012 Olympic Celebration event, in Herrington Country Park, you all became part of the legacy that is the cultural Olympiad Sunderland 2012. The small artworks will then be brought together to create one ‘Big Picture’ to be permanently displayed in Sunderland Aquatic Centre by January 2013. Funding for The Big Picture has been provided by Arts Council England, Gentoo Group Ltd and Sunderland City Council.
