Rehearsal rooms, recording facilities and music tuition are at the core of The Bunker’s services, providing a base and space to develop for bands and artists. We also work with a range of local venues and arts organisations to provide development opportunities and encourage cultural activity in Sunderland. Additionally, we deliver training, development and career guidance on a range of music/arts-
related topics to budding musicians and young people in Sunderland. We have a wide range of training courses and professional music tuition at a reasonable price, often discounted or free of charge, for those who qualify for financial support. Everyone is welcome, any age, any ability. We currently have students as young and 6 years old, all the way up to 80 years old. You’re never too young or old to start learning to play an instrument. We offer equipment hire and events management services, whether you’re a local band looking for some support at your gig, or you need a PA system for a small party, or even a full system for a live event, we can provide a solution.
