Just a reminder that we are closed until Saturday as we spend some welcome time working with our CCT colleages from across England at our annual staff meeting.

We’re back and open from 10am on Saturday for the HHPPG Community Health Day - free for all to attend to learn about what health options are available locally for you. Our Pride social group will still be meeting as usual from midday and of course the cafe will be open from 10-3.

This week! Decafé, Thrive, live music, sewing, drawing and our Vintage & Retro fair on Sunday! All are FREE but donations are ALWAYS welcome. Please support us by buying your refreshments at our cafe bar. We are a charity and Grade I medieval buildings cost a lot to look after 👼

CALLING ARTISTS & ARTISANS! we have found ourselves with a free Sunday at the end of July, so we thought why not do a pop-up Affordable Art and Artisan Fair 🤔 So, if you have original (incl prints) art for sale - £300 and under- get in touch with us. We are keen to hear from emerging artists working across illustration, paintings, textiles, ceramics etc.

As Volunteers’ Week draws to a close, we are delighted to celebrate two remarkable achievements that showcase the creativity, dedication and community spirit of the people who make our work possible.

Firstly, huge congratulations to our incredible volunteers on being nominated for the Marsh Award for Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) Volunteer Team of the Year. We are deeply grateful for the time, energy and passion they bring to our historic space. This nomination is a wonderful recognition of their commitment and impact.

We are also thrilled to celebrate the young people working with and winners of the Marsh Award for the CCT Creativity Award. Their inspiring Silk Music Project in 2025 creatively combined Sudbury’s rich silk-weaving heritage with innovative digital sound creation, producing a unique and imaginative piece of work that connected past and present in exciting new ways.

Congratulations to all involved. These achievements highlight the power of creativity, collaboration and community, and we couldn’t be prouder.
