Go for it Emma!

🏃‍♀️ 26.2 MILES. ONE VERY SPECIAL REASON. ONE MONTH TO GO. ❤️🏃‍♀️

On the 24th October, Emma Keogh is taking on the Beachy Head Marathon to raise funds for the Kernos Centre - and there is a very personal story behind her challenge.

Emma is running in memory of her cousin, Edd Keogh, one of the founders of the LeeStock Music Festival, who sadly died last year.

Edd was a much-loved husband to Katy and dad to their three children. Emma understands how important it is for children who lose a parent to have a safe and caring place to turn, particularly in the difficult days and months that follow. It’s this kind of support for bereaved children and families that makes the work of Kernos so close to her heart. That is why Emma has chosen to support Kernos Centre and the counselling we provide to people in our community, including children and families experiencing bereavement.

Having completed the Beachy Head 10k and half marathon over the last two years, Emma is now going all the way and taking on the full 26.2 miles.

❤️ We would love our community to get behind her.

Every donation, however large or small, will help us continue providing counselling to those who need our support.

👉 Donate to Emma’s fundraiser here:

If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing Emma’s story. Every share helps her fundraiser reach more people.

Thank you, Emma, for choosing to support Kernos and for taking on this incredible challenge in Edd’s memory. We’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.

We're proud that our organisers have the time and enthusiasm to work on projects like this one!

Andy and Edd had been working on plans to make a low budget, horror movie for the last few years and Andy has finally finished putting together a crowdfunder to raise the budget to shoot late 2026/early 2027. As Andy puts it, 'Edd will have sole credit as producer of the movie, whether he would have liked it or not'.

Horror movies aren't for everybody but if you want to support a local, passion project then check out the crowdfunder for all the background information, a proof-of-concept trailer and much more!

Six is a dumb, fun, old school horror movie! Inspired by low-budget masterpieces like The Evil Dead and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Six follows a group of seemingly unrelated characters thrust together into a collision with a bizarre satanic cult, aiming to sacrifice six individuals, one by one ov...
