We are delighted to share with you 'Midnight At Candlemas' - a brand new painting by the brilliantly talented Jane Ford - created especially for our 21st Birthday exhibition.

Here Jane can be seen working on the piece and shares with us a fascinating insight into the painting during its various stages of progress!

She has exhibited across the UK - including with The Royal Society Of British Artists in London.

In addition her paintings have been selected for International exhibition and publication.

In 2024, Jane was created a Grandmaster of Fine Art.

With an all consuming passion for British Wildlife combined with a quirky, dark, Northern sense of humour, the main subject of each painting is transformed from a natural pose into a completely obscure and unusual setting.

The great diversity of British wildlife and the imagination of connecting birds and animals with unrelated objects opens up endless possibilities for her paintings.

We cannot wait to have this incredibly special piece on display!

It is with much pride we can say that Nichola Theakston will be part of our upcoming 21st Birthday exhibition!

Nichola has established herself as one of the UK's foremost contemporary sculptors working within the animal genre.

She exhibits across the UK and Europe and is collected internationally by those who appreciate her exceptional natural ability and skill, coupled with sensitivity and awareness of her subject.

We are so excited to see her piece!

We were thrilled when the acclaimed French artist, Anne Bachelier said she would paint us a very special piece for our 21st Birthday exhibition - she can be seen working on it here during the early stages!

As well as being a long time friend of Imagine Gallery - Anne has had a hugely successful international career as an artist - exhibiting in New York, San Francisco, Paris, Vienna and Brussels.

Born in Louvigné du Désert, Anne attended the School of Fine Arts in La Seyne-sur-Mer.

Afterwards she practiced the technique of painting on silk, initially creating utilitarian objects (scarves & cushions), but very
quickly turning to what is close to her heart, the themes that are still present in her painting today.

In 1989, Anne abandoned silk painting to return to the more traditional practice of oil painting.

In addition Anne has created a number of unique artist books and designed the costumes for the ballet 'Tango Pleague'.

We are so excited to see her finished painting and share it with you!

We are absolutely delighted that sculptor Christy Keeney will be among the amazing artists exhibiting in our 21st Birthday show.

Christy studied ceramics at the Royal College of Art in London, and has also been commissioned by Sculptor, Eduardo Paolozzi, and HM The King.

As a student, he was a fine artist who, after some coaxing from his foundation tutor, somehow found himself enrolled on the pottery degree course. He developed a liking for clay but found throwing limiting and, in search of his own direction, discovered the freedom of sculpting clay.

His figurative ceramics is an investigation into the human condition, and his forms are stretched to the point where sculpture and drawing overlap.

His piece is a true work of art and we can't wait to share it with you!

Imagine Gallery is 21 this year!
