You will work on blank cotton journal pages with inks, pastes, leaves and more to create your own unique nature journal. This will be a fun and creative workshop with the chance to learn new techniques to give your journal lots of lovely texture and colour. Add further details with stamps, collage and maybe some stitch work if you wish. This is a mixed media project that will be demonstrated step by step but will give plenty of opportunity for your own creativity. We’re brushing up our ink blending techniques this Friday 4th September in our regular weekly class. If you love Lavinia stamps and would like to expand your skills, this class is perfect for you. Only £15 for 90 minutes of step-by-step demonstrations. Stamps and inks provided to use in class and all materials provided. There’s so much to look forward to in our craft sanctuary at Amelias’s. A new month means our regular class timetable restarts this week with crochet, modern watercolour, card making and ledger journaling. Next week -more crochet, scrapbooking, card making and art journaling. Plus lots of workshops too!

Capture the feeling of a garden filled with wildflowers in our upcoming workshop. You will make a beautiful concertina book using a range of papers and stamps from .The perfect opportunity to learn mew techniques and go home with a lovely project. All stages will be demonstrated by Emily and you can follow along in our friendly crafty environment. A perfect way to extend your crafting skills. Booking available on our website - look in the ‘Workshops’ section. We have free parking right outside and will serve light refreshments. £50 includes a full@pack of decoupage papers.

Our final August Art Journal class was inspired by the colours of the landscape last week, We had fun using some of our favourite stamps and stencils from Alison Bomber.
Our Art Journal classes are open to anyone who would like to get the most out of their craft supplies. It’s a guided class and we welcome crafters with all levels of experience. It’s a lot of fun! Give yourself permission to play in a welcoming workshop space with likeminded people. Never Art Journaled before? Don’t worry - this is a friendly and welcoming crafting environment 🤗
We have three Art Journal classes every month. Our September dates are Saturday 12th, Thursday 17th and Thursday 24th. 10-1230 £27,50.

Some of the gorgeous designs made yesterday in our workshop with Julie Peplow. So much colour and inspiration using inks and stamps from Arden Creative Studio designed by Katie Pertiet Designs and TEXT{ures} by Lou Collins. We hope you find some crafting time this Sunday or join us this week for Christmas Card making on Wednesday, Art Journaling on Thursday and Card making on Friday. Not forgetting our Tuesday morning Crochet class too!

It’s a special day at Amelia’s today😀 Hobbymaker’s Julie Peplow is hosting a creative stamping workshop and she’s brought a Goody Bag with her! Anyone who shops in store today will be entered into the raffle to win a selection of high quality craft items including paper pads, dies , glues, embellishments and more! So if you’re out and about today pop in and say hi. We’re open until 3pm 😀
