Chalfest

Chalfest A not for profit festival started in 2017 and organised by the local people of Chalford. It took place in Chalford on July 22nd 2017.

Chalfest began as a ticketed one day community festival licensed for 5000 people. We invited the entire community to be involved in the planning and implementation of the event, an ethos that stays with us today. Our event now sells out well in advance of its' 7500 tickets. It is also an opportunity for the local community to raise funds for it's own chosen projects. If you want to get involved by

As you may or may not know, our volunteers will be able to swap your COMMUNITY tickets for your wristbands on the week leading up to Chalfest. This not only saves you queuing time to get into the event but also gives you a great opportunity to get into the festival spirit nice and early It's also a great chance for our local businesses to benefit (make sure you buy a coffee or a pint). Keep an eye on your emails for the Terms and Conditions. We will also be doing these sessions at the three local primary schools, the information for which will be sent to you by the schools in the next week or so. We want to give a massive thank you to all our sponsors. Your generosity is amazing. We wanted to showcase a few of you and first up is Craig and the team at AMA who are stepping up and sponsoring Graham's Stage. This is our massively popular bar stage named after the wonderful Graham Brown, a great supporter of Chalfest and chief volunteer who sadly passed away a few years ago.

In just over 4 weeks time this place will be transformed into the most wonderful event as we open the doors to our little slice of heaven.
International artists, local bands, up and coming performers all take to the three music stages. Add in our traditional Village Green, Comedy Tent, Kids area with so much free stuff to make, see and do, markets, bars, food trucks and much much more and you have the fabulous event we affectionately call The Party on the Hill.
