New Orleans' Slow Motion Cowboys are the soulful country ramblings of songwriter Pete Fields.

Prevalent these days in the New Orleans magnetic country scene, Pete and his band play often to the dancing crowds of southern Louisiana and beyond bringing an uptempo groove behind razor sharp lyrics culled from the struggle of modern times. With roots in CA, New Mexico and Texas the band has worked stages throughout the South and Southwest building a strong following through their releases on the Muscle Shoals' label Arkam Records.

This is a rare Thursday night gig, as we HAD to get these guys in.

Today is the last day of our August B**r and Music Festival! Open from 1 till 7pm serving food until 6pm.

At 4pm there is a ticketed event inside with the return of the mighty Yalla Miku , but the rest of the pub (courtyard and big garden) is free entry…

Day 4 of our August B**r and Music Festival bringing forth new kids on the punk/grunge block Incubation (7pm) and the Haskins; a four-piece powerhouse pulling massive, melodic classic pop-rock kicking and screaming back into the mainstream.(9pm). We will also have DJ’s throughout the day!

AUGUST B**R AND MUSIC FEST DAY 3!

Our favourite local shoegaze/grunge queen Pebble Daisy heads back to the Albert following the release of her brilliant new single Sweetness combining 1990s indie rock, dream-pop, and shoegaze with heavy guitar riffs and sultry, raspy vocals. (8pm). Sue Harding is a West Country-based singer, songwriter & guitar player who creates a hauntingly beautiful sound with a retro sensibility, referencing the song-writing of the 1960s & '70s 4pm). Influwaster is the musical output of Joe Poulton who used to be in various other guises including Public Speech, Little Devils and more famously The Prawn on Britains Got Talent 2014! “Reminds me of Ian Dury!” said the Alberts Miles Connolly of his recent performance at our Songwriter’s Stage nights…(6pm)
