Get this one in the diary! We’re kicking off the Bank Holiday weekend with a proper Salsa night — and it’s also Sam’s birthday! 🎂🥳

🔥 THE EVENING

🕖 7:15pm – Exp. Beginners & Improvers Class
Perfect for brushing up your basics and learning some fun new moves & combinations.
🎶 8:00pm – Freestyle Practice
Time to put those moves into action and enjoy your first chance to freestyle to the music.
🕣 Approx. 8:30pm – Solo then Intermediate Class
For those wanting to challenge themselves and add some more moves to their repertoire.
💃 9:20pm onwards SOCIAL DANCING!
The lights go down, the music goes up and it’s time to dance! 🎶🔥 If numbers are good and appetite and energy is high we can dance til later than normal!

All in our fully air-conditioned studio with a professional sprung floor — so you can dance without melting! ❄️😎

🤝 No partner needed — come solo, bring a friend or bring the whole gang. Everyone gets the chance to dance!

Blackpool Winter Gardens and all my amazing dance partners didn’t disappoint at NATD Nationwide Medallist Competition this weekend. 🪩💃👏

Big congratulations to all dancers from Britannia Dance & Dance Your Way for showcasing such technique and performance and making the weekend so much fun! 🤩 Overall some top level Ballroom & Latin dancing to witness and participate in.

Big thanks to the event organisers, the wonderful Miranda de Barra and Charlotte L. Taylor for keeping us all in check and to all the dance Mums and Dads and my Ella for the needed support to get us through a long tiring weekend! 🙌🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🗼🪩

If you fancy a fun night learning some cool Salsa moves then don’t forget to book your place for this Friday’s Stroud Salsa Night.

We’ll be recapping some of the moves from the last session if you missed it or want to consolidate and adding a few new ones too, so it’s a great chance to discover salsa or build on what you’ve learned.

It’ll be a fun, relaxed evening of Latin vibes, great music and dancing – it would be fantastic to see lots of familiar faces there! Classes cater for both beginners and existing dancers.

So pleased and proud to announce Jo and Sharon danced wonderfully at the IDTAs Southwest area Ballroom & Latin competition today.

They came away with fabulous placings in all 5 separate dance events they entered which saw some stiff competition in the over 35s.

Ballroom Medalist of the Year - 4 dance event
Jo - 1st place / Sharon - 3rd place 🏆🙌

Quickstep - Jo: 1st place / Sharon 2nd place 👏
Viennese Waltz - Jo 1st place / Sharon 2nd place 🥇🥈
