🍵 ☕️ We’re now taking bookings for the July Meet & Make which will be the last for the summer as we take a break and start up again in September. If you have moved to the area, work from home or just feel a sense of disconnect then this workshop is for you to come along to our pottery and meet new people through creativity in clay in making a mug!! It’s a pay what you feel, (£5 min actual cost of workshop is £30)

🌼☀️🌸We are also hosting our summer social, an opportunity for you to see student work exhibited within the studios and garden as well as connect with students from other classes and the membership’s.
It will also be an opportunity to wish our truly amazing tech Anna all the best as she’s off to begin her degree in Falmouth in September. 🌞🌊🌅
🌟Luca our other truly awesome tech will be stepping into Anna’s role and will be joined by our new apprentice Harry who we are super pleased to welcome to the pottery. 🌟

Join Emily Joy for a magical day creating detailed botanical plaques. We'll be using local, seasonal flowers and foliage, and casting them in plaster to create a series of wall plaques. 10am-4pm, Saturday 13th June, at the bright and inspiring Stroud Pottery. All materials and equipment included, no previous experience needed.

We are running a Meet and Make 2.5 hour handbuilding workshop on the last Sunday of each Month till end of July, for people that are new to the area and are finding it hard to meet new friends.
It’s a pay as you can ( min payment of £5 which will contribute to all materials/ utilities and the tutors time)
Come and make a hand built mug in our relaxing, light pottery studio, tea / coffee biscuits are also provided.

We have four great workshops coming up for Feb March and April. From our monthly taster session which is run by our brilliant tutor Dawn Hargreaves Almasi - A Kintsugi workshop with Clara Kintsugi where you can repair a favourite cup, bowl or small plate using the traditional Japanese art of repair with lacquer and gold powder and also two beautiful workshops run by Emily Joy using porcelain clay to make organic stacking bowls in the morning and for the afternoon workshop making folk art inspired tiles using the sgraffito techniques.
