Strathaven Folk Club

Strathaven Folk Club We are a Folk Music Club held in The Granary at Strathaven Mill on the first Sunday of each month. Admission is £5.00 for adults/£2.00 Children.

The club is held once per month, on the 3rd Sunday of the Month (unless otherwise publicized). Our venue is the upstairs room in The Strathaven Pub. Strathaven has had a highly respected Folk Club since the 1960's & 70's where some of the Giants of the UK Folk Scene have performed. We aim to continue the good work and to build on this illustrious heritage.

What a brilliant time we had yesterday at our Hogmanay Themed Singers’ Night. Everyone rose to the challenge of singing Traditional style Scottish songs only and we had many fine performances. So thanks to all who came along. We now look forward to seeing you all again on 1st February when our guests will be Jack Law & Raging Twilight.

Hi Folks, as Sunday approaches we’re looking forward to a jolly Christmas Party night with Ian Bruce & Kev Green.

Going forward into 2026 we have some great talent visiting the Granary. Of course, we’ll still squeeze in some of our special Singers’ Nights which, you will note, each have theme. With plenty of advance notice, the challenge is to stick to the theme, learning new songs if necessary! We’ll be kicking off on 4th January with a Hogmanay theme, Traditional Scottish Songs only!
