Tread the Boards Theatre Company was established in 2009 by Catherine Prout and John-Robert Partridge. They are the resident theatre company of The Attic Theatre, The Lazy Cow in Stratford upon Avon and are proud to call themselves the Number One Fringe Theatre in the town. Since opening in 2009 Tread the Boards have gone on to win many awards and accolades presented to them including 'Best Play'
at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for their production of 'The Importance of Being Earnest' awarded by Dark Chat Reviews. 'Sell Out Show 2012 and 2013' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for their productions of 'A Midsummer Nights Dream' and ' Complete Works of William Shakespeare - Abridged' which also performed on the Royal Shakespeare Theatre main stage for one night only as part of the World Shakespeare Festival. Most recently Tread the Boards Theatre won 'Best Arts Organisation of the Year' at the Pride of Stratford Awards 2014 sponsored by the RSC and produced their first Feature Film 'Sense and Sensibility'. For 2015 Tread the Boards present a thrilling season of work including The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged, Pride and Prejudice, Peter Pan which will tour to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the pantomime of your dreams, 'Sleeping Beauty'.
